Some Resurrect Some Never Will

Flatening

It flies much better without dihedral. Looks better too if you ask me.

Dihedral Vs. No Dihedral

Because of a crash resulting from a bad elevator servo the fresh Mono Dito had to see Kosta's workshop. That was the right time to flaten the wing. He made this carbon reinforcement
and that made the wing a 245 cm flat board
This is how it was.
Extreme dihedral=very sensitive to side wind + looking very unserious

It looks even bigger now without the dihedral

Mono Dito

A Hell Of A Wing> 240 cm Wingspan

Ugly As Hell

Mono Dito

This is my new Plane. The name given by my twoandahalf years old daughter is Mono Dito.
I flew it this weekend. It flies reasonably well. It was used by the JNA (Jugoslav National Army) as a Target Puller for Anti Air Guns. I have mounted the engine and electronics from the Klemm 35 on it. It has a 240 cm wingspan, monumental dihedral and is so ugly that it is beautiful again.

Klemm 35 Down - Big Bang

Still Wondering How The Engine Survived?

Recovering it from the hangar roof.

Klemm Down

That was a Big Bang. I slammed the Klemm 35 into the unforgiving steal structure of the hangar with full throttle applied. The result: devastating. The front end and the wing are totally shattered, only the back end of the fuselage has somehow survived. Fortunately the engine, receiver and the servos are still in working conditions so I’ll have less transition costs in building my new plane cause the Klemm 35 Spezial is unrecoverable (the rebuild would be economically unfeasible). So I am on the outlook for a plane that can hold a 20 cc engine.
